I had an excellent time in Toronto yesterday spending the day at the Clothing Show and various other shopping outlets with my dear friend Tobi. The Clothing Show was housed in a huuuge room with vendors everywhere, divided into different sections. I was pretty interested in seeing what the 'Eco' section had to offer, but was rather disappointed by the slim selection of planet friendly wares. It was the vintage section where I had the most luck. It was fun just to browse around all the booths filled with beautiful vintage things, but I did find a pair of moccasin boots that I ended up buying. My favourite booth was Hilary Bregman Vintage, pictured below. Truth be told, I wasn't remotely interested in anything else offered by the Clothing Show, but it was still a fun experience.

For the rest of the day, we wandered around Toronto's fashion district and Chinatown. We stumbled upon this alternative school that was having a 'garage sale' fundraiser in there gym, where I bought a skirt and two shirts all for the grand total of $1.00. If you're in the Kensigton area, Urban Herbivore is a great place to eat - the BBQ Tofu sandwich was astoundingly delicious, and filling too!

We laughed! We cried! We hurled! All in all, an excellent day.
