How to Make Whimsical Fabric Flower Hair Clips? You just need a little fabric, some hair clips, and a flame.

Materials for Fabric Flowers:


synthetic fabric in whatever colors and styles catch your eye.  I used 1/8th of a yard each of five different types of complimentary fabrics, some sheer, some opaque.

 Getting a drastic haircut is something that should be on every alternative college kid's bucket list of things to do before they graduate. No really, it says so right here on Chandler Levack's twitter! So I took the plunge and went for the Alice Dellal-inspired undercut. I think it only qualifies as a semi-drastic haircut because its pretty tame right now but I might get my friend to shave some more off this weekend. Sorry, mom and dad!

Last Day of Magic

I guess I'm going for the innocent sailor lady look with the horizontal stripes and full skirt, but PEEKABOO there's secret badass nebula leggings hiding under those good girl knee socks. My outfits are like a box of chocolate, you never know what you're going to get?

Also, learning different forms of hair braids is an arduous and experimental process. But they actually turned out kind of nice today! Huzzah!

Tell Me I Need Somebody

Thanks to youtube video tutorials, I have discovered that my new favourite hairstyle is: MILKMAID BRAIDS. After I saw them on Tavi, I had to try them and figured my hair was finally long enough. Excellent. My feelings on life, pictured below.

Anyways, I know this is a bit late but I've spent some time reflecting on the Black Friday weekend and just what it means to people etc. In commemoration of the human element of Black Friday, I wrote an article called 'On Buy Nothing Day' that you probably want to read.
