Snakes + Ireland

Happy carousing to everyone on this marvelous St. Patrick's Day! The weather is unbelievably warm/sunny and I don't have a million assignments due (that's in two weeks) so I am celebrating the crap out of it. I figured this t-shirt was perfect to wear because it is green and beer-themed, and couldn't help but pair it with offensively matching tights.

My neighbours are having a porch kegger and definitely have been celebrating since noon. Eating green cupcakes like its my job, natch.

Who knows where today will lead? Maybe over the rainbow to a pot of gold! Hee hee!

VDAY

Happy Valentine's Day! It's very gloomy and wet outside, so the gothic dress and black lace is super appropriate for such a subversive occasion. Perfect for casting witchy love spells and burning Dragon's Blood incense, right?

My neon + black lace legs are sort of channeling an "Edward Gorey-on-hallucinogens" vibe, which is weird but then again, aren't all Hallmark holidays weird enough?
Here are some of my favourite valentine-y cards I've gathered from around the interwebs. And if you want to reminisce, last year's V-Day post was a badass one!

12.25.10

A very merry Grinch-mas to you all! Instead of blogging, I've been spending my time wisely: outdoor ice skating, reading Kurt Vonnegut books, cooking and EATING MY WEIGHT IN CHOCOLATE THRICE OVER. My wonderful mother custom made me this perfect Peter Pan collar dress and I've been parading around in it for hours. For one day a year, goth jams become Grinch jams!!

Handel's Messiah is playing on the radio and I can't wait to hear the Queen's annual Christmas speech. Good day to you all!
