Teen Vogue used to be one of my favourite reads, but I pretty much lost all interest after they put Miley Cyrus on the cover. I may fall into the "teen" category, but I feel way to old to be reading anything glorifying a Disney star. However, after being tipped off that the August issue is actually pretty good - I had to take a look. And I liked what I saw.
First off, Emma Watson! As an intense Harry Potter fan, I approve!
It's nice to see Agyness Deyn hasn't dropped off the face of the planet and is still dressing like a maniac. I love this.
Girl who mixes zebra stripes, polka dots and Ziggy Stardust hair? Again, I approve.
However lame the title may be, how cool is it that Teen Vogue is endorsing NOT spending exorbitant amounts of money on clothing. Hear, hear!
Then of course, there are the delicious editorials.
The models are so cute and I love the leggings/pointy winklepicker shoes theme of the whole thing.
Dressing like a boy can be pretty, too!
All in all, more than worth the $5. Keep up the good work, Teen Vogue!
