Writer's Workshop: Feeling a Little Blue

I've done this once or twice before, and since I am trying to work on my writing skills I really need to do this more often. Plus, Mama Kat is the schiz. Seriously.


It was hard to choose a prompt. She's got some really good prompts, many of which speak to me this week, but since I love talking about my kids....

The color of their blue eyes is so very different, yet so very beautiful. Scooby has these big doe eyes with a hint of brown in the very center.

Jellybean's eyes literally take my breath away though. I have never seen blue eyes quite like hers. The only way I can explain the transluscence is to show this picture first:

The dark outer circles of blue surrounding the soft blue centers, and her long eyelashes to boot? She gives new meaning to "Maybe she's born with it, maybe it's Maybelline." Her eyes literally amaze me.

And Scooby? Well, I know that I have  A LONG LIFE of trying to resist his twin pools of blue. And he's already learned how to work them. I swear he has the longest eyelashes I have EVER seen.

Man I am in so much trouble!!
