Lady Gaga rocked yet another outrageous look at 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards held at at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in NYC on June 6.
The 25-year-old eccentric pop star showed up at the purple carpet in a crazy green wig, sheer and spiked black dress and infamous sky-high platform heels.
Born This Way singer Lady Gaga brought punk glamor to the event and also won CFDA’s Fashion Icon award

Whoop!! Yay!! Thanks, Sarah!!! I'm glad at least SOMEONE thinks I'm trendy (insert eyeroll from the preteen here)!! I didn't see any rules attached (Yay!!) so I'm just passing it along to some other blogs I think y'all really should go and visit....

Jackie over at Lumps on a Blog gave me the Beautiful Blogger award yesterday!!! Thanks, Jackie!!! Woot Woot!!! Of course, being beautiful means I need to tell you 10 things you don't know about me, and pass it along to 10 blogs I frequent....
1. My favorite colors are purple, coral, blue topaz and rose pink.
2. I do not wear my favorite colors together....EVER
3. I have a total of 5 blogs.
4. One of those blogs is a cooking blog I need to update. (Yes, my name is Slacker!)
5. Another one of those blogs is my new design blog that is not officially up and running yet.
6. My mind and my heart are on board for one last baby before I hit 40.
7. My body is more on a "Oh Hell NO" wavelength.
8. I have no idea what I am doing hosting a blog party. Ahahahaha.
9. I play fantasy football.

And the Oscar Goes To.......
This week I was blessed with this award (twice):
by 2 fantastic ladies, Marissa at The Hardest Job on Earth, and 21st Century Domestic Goddess. I'm sending a GREAT big shout out to both those ladies in THANKS for making my week, month, year. Bless you both!!
Anyway, along with accepting the award, and following the rules (first was to thank the person(s) who passed it to you) comes the revelation of 7 facts I'm not really sure you really should know about me, but here goes....
1. The only time I can seem to read is when I poop, and that's only if I can manage to get a privatehour minute.
2. I can play 3 musical instruments--the piano, the clarinet and the violin.
3. My first big celebrity teenage crush was Billy Warlock (of DOOL fan), followed by C. Thomas Howell, Ralph Macchio, and River Phoenix.
4. I am 100% terrified of sharks. I will not go in the ocean. Ever.
5. When I was a teenager, I wanted to be in the Olympics as a downhill skier.
6. I have worked as a waitress.
7. I am still working on my associate's degree. I'll get there someday.
Now, I'm supposed to pass the award along to 15 more bloggers that I have recently discovered and then let them know about their award. So, without any further ado, I pass this award on to....
