Sony is offering Easy A star, Emma Stone the opportunity to play Mary Jane Watson. Prior to this offer, Lily Collins, Teresa Palmer and Mia Wasikowsk had also been in the running. Stone has yet to accept or reject the offer. Personally I think that having her as Mary Jane would completely change the character, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I just think that her brand of humor doesn't quite fit in with the demure role of Kirsten Dunst's version of Watson. But that's just me, what do you think?

Emma Stone to be Offered Mary Jane
Sony is offering Easy A star, Emma Stone the opportunity to play Mary Jane Watson. Prior to this offer, Lily Collins, Teresa Palmer and Mia Wasikowsk had also been in the running.
