Wordful Wednesday: The Countdown Continues

Yeah, you read that right--wordful, the opposite of wordless, and really it's only because today is Thanksgiving Eve and I have so much to be thankful for, it would probably take 3 years of straight thankful posting to cover it all.

So, without further ado, let's move on to my #2 reason for thankfulness this year.

#2: I'm thankful that I have a family....

  • I have been very blessed to have the opportunity to experience motherhood with all of its quirks...

the angry outbursts of a prepubescent tweenager, the insistent poop-smearing-on-the wall preschooler...the nonstop calls of "Mommy" from wake up to goodnight...the constant never stay clean for longer than 2 minutes (if I'm lucky) house...the intense sibling rivalry fun that never stops...

There are good days and bad days...days when I'm singing with happiness and days when I'm growling in frustration...but no matter what kind of day I have, this:

makes motherhood worth all the sweat and tears, the sacrifice and the joy.

  • I've been very blessed to have a partner for life, one that is dedicated to me, the family we have built together, and the dreams I hold for my future...

one who works hard so I don't have to...I get to enjoy every moment with my children...a dream I never thought could happen...my knight in shining armor...a great father...

but best of all? He's also my best friend.

To my Good Lord,

I thank you for giving me the life that you have, blessing me with my children, and sending me such a loving man who accepts me and loves me despite all my faults, imperfections, and short-comings, or maybe because of them.

Love, The Drama Mama

  • I'm blessed that I have such a wonderful family, who hasn't disowned me yet. I'm lucky to have such a kind and caring mother, a talented caring brother, and a man who didn't have to be as my dad. There's also a couple of future sister-in-laws involved in there, and of course, the twins. There's extensions of family, friends I have known so long they are considered family, and for all of this, all of the blessings I have been given, I am thankful.

P.S. I am also thankful for my readers, all those who comment, and those who don't. I am blessed to have so many who are interested in my life and care about me and mine.  Tomorrow will be busy, so I wanted to make sure y'all got a chance to see it.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
