Though she's rumored to be incredibly rude, demanding and offensive in real life, Sally Field can play a kind old grandmotherly figure like nobody else. The Brothers & Sisters star (and my favorite character in Steel Magnolias) is currently in talks with Sony to play Aunt May. Martin Sheen has already been set to play Uncle Ben in the movie. Of course, Andrew Garfield has been set to play Peter Parker and Emma Stone is set to play Gwen Stacy. I'm so excited to see this one!

Sally Field to Potentially Play Aunt May in new Spider-Man
Though she's rumored to be incredibly rude, demanding and offensive in real life, Sally Field can play a kind old grandmotherly figure like nobody else. The Brothers & Sisters star (and my favorite character in Steel Magnolias) is currently in talks with Sony to play Aunt May. Martin Sheen has already been set to play Uncle Ben in the movie.
