A Million Dollar Giveaway

I opened my email this morning, like I do every morning. I enjoy the mostly spam free mailbox gmail keeps for me, so I believe that most of my emails are legit and virus free. This morning, there was an email telling me I had won 650, 000 pounds or to be more precise, $1, 059,500 American dollars.

Woooohoooooooooooooooooooo!! I'm rich, I'm rich!! Eat your heart out Donald Trump!

So, what would I do with a million dollars? Hmmmmmm....

1. Dream house. I already have that. It's not a huge house, but its just the right size. But, I could use an upgrade in furniture....

2. I would definitely invest in a new car. Don't get me wrong, I love my 03 Kia, but something with better gas mileage would be better...

Kia Soul: 25/City, 31/Hwy
 Dodge Caliber: 24/City, 32/Hwy
Nissan Juke: 27/City, 32/Hwy

3. I'd buy a bookstore.

Seriously, I would. It would have a coffee shop in it, a free daycare for those moms like me that read to escape and need some "mom" time but don't always have the money to pay a babysitter. I would have all kinds of books in there, and even book publishing! There are so many talented writers out there! in fact, I know of one such talented writer....

Her name is Tammy Parker Cox. She wrote a children's book that is beautifully illustrated. Its simple to read. It's easily understood. It brings about an awareness.

In this story, she explores the differences between 2 children, siblings, and how they are so much alike and so much different. She explores how the little brother, who is autistic, is just a little bit more different than everyone else, but that's okay too. It's got wonderful concepts and values. It's entertaining. It's educational. It's colorful. What more could you want in your children's books?

And what else? The author is willing to giveaway a downloadable version of her book to one lucky reader!! You don't need to follow anyone. Or like anything. You don't have to subscribe to anything either. All you have to do is leave a comment in this post about an autistic person you love, and you are automatically entered. It's that easy!! I will announce the winner next Thursday, but the giveaway ends at midnight on Monday (due to the Blogger shut down) so don't procrastinate!

For those of you who don't want to take your chances, her book is available for purchase for Kindle and on Lulu. Each time someone purchases this book, it helps bring autism awareness to our children, our families, and ourselves. This is a feel good moment, right here.
