Call Her
I recently bought this fuzzy black mohair sweater at a thrift store a few weeks ago. I was really debating with myself on whether I should buy it, but I ended up purchasing the damn thing not because I was in love with it, but because I think that every true 90s woman worth her salt should own a fuzzy mohair sweater. Whenever I think of mohair sweaters, I picture that famous picture of Courtney Love wearing a matted, baggy cardigan in the famous Kurt + Courtney interview in Sassy Magazine and Nirvana’s 1993 MTV Unplugged concert. Last week I watched another quintessential 90s movie, Empire Records and of course, a young Liv Tyler is decked out in a fuzzy sweater crop top for the entire movie! I think I made a good call on the fuzzy sweater purchase, if only for the sake of clever historical references.
P.S. Today's outfit. Why do I look so fucking twee?
