Pete Postlethwaite Dies at Age 64

This death is surprising to me as I just saw him as "The Florist" in Ben Afflick's The Town and in Inception this summer. He died at the age of 64 in his sleep after a long battle with cancer.
Some of Postlethwaite's best known films are Romeo + Juliet, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, In The Name of the Father (for which he received an Oscar nomination) and The Usual Suspects. He was one of those actors that "has been in everything." Steven Spielberg once described him as "the best actor in the world." Entertainment Weekly quoted Postlethwaite as responding saying "I’m sure what Spielberg actually said was, ‘the thing about Pete is that he thinks he’s the best actor in the world.’ " He will be greatly missed.
