Harry Potter 7 Best Film Scenes

After doing a three day marathon of the past seven films, I have concluded that these seven scenes are superior to all. Hope you enjoy.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone
So many options to choose from in this fantastic first film! But my favorite is when the trio is on their way to the Sorcerer's Stone and encounters a chess board. "We have to play our way across the room." And they do. The music is excellent and the youngsters' excitement is contagious.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Though giant snakes and evil diaries are all well and good, I most enjoyed the scene in which Harry and Malfoy duel. It's the first time you truly see that hatred that lasts these to nemesis through an entire series. The platform or table on which they duel is the perfect setting for this showdown. "Scared Potter?" "You wish."

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
One of the series darkest films, Azkaban saw the introduction of some fabulous new characters including Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and even the mousy Peter Pettigrew. The best and spookiest new addition was that of the dementors. The first scene in which they come on the train haunts me to this day.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
This was one of the more action-packed of the Potter films. With Harry in the Triwizard Tournament he had plenty of action. But it was actually his down time that I enjoyed the most. The decorations and music in the Yule Ball were gorgeous and reminded me that Hogwarts students were teenagers too, with hormones and the need to boogie.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
By far my favorite film, the Order of the Phoenix was filled with great scenes. But the one that really stands out is the final battle in the Department of Mysteries. Not only does it introduce my girl Bellatrix Lestrange, but I love the way the prophecies shatter and are used as weapons.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
On a whole, I liked this film least of all the Potter films. It was too full of teenage angst and didn't include enough of Rowling's story. However, the best scene is when Harry takes the Felix Felicis potion. His animated speech and movements showed some of Radcliffe's better acting.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 1
The first part of the final film had a great scene inside the Ministry of Magic in which Harry, Ron and Hermione sneak in to steal Umbridge's locket, which is also a horcrux. The thought and detail that went into every aspect of the Ministry and the action packed fights made it my favorite scene in the film.

Well, there you have it. I can't wait to watch the final film and find another favorite scene in there. Did I miss any of your favorites? Share them below. And don't forget to vote in the poll on the top right corner of the page. Only a few hours left!
