Finally, an excuse to discuss the TV show Glee on this film blog. Though their motives are completely commercial (Season One Volume One...are you kidding me?), I can't help buying into this catchy show. Even though the characters break up and get together with someone else in every episode and it, with a few exceptions, lacks decent character development and depth, I just can't seem to get those tunes out of my head. This August "Gleeks" everywhere will rush to movie theaters rather than concert halls to get the "real" Glee experience. Think Justin Bieber: Never Say Never meets High School Musical: The Concert. I'll go see it, but I won't necessarily be proud of it. What about you? Interested?
