The first Sherlock Holmes film was a big disappointment. The strong cast made me believe the plot would be equally strong but the slow-paced clues didn't interest me enough for the lackluster finale that is characteristic of Sherlock Holmes stories. Hopefully this sequel will live up to the hype. In these newly released images and posters, we of course see the somewhat comical duo of Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) and Watson (Jude Law) and also Professor Moriarty (Jared Harris) and Sim, a gypsy played by Noomi Rapace. Though she is not pictured, the character of Irene Alder, played by Rachel McAdams, is supposed to be in this installment as well. It's set to come out December 16. Will you go see it?
