'Ides of March Trailer' Stars Gosling, Clooney, Hoffman and More
Ryan Gosling and George Clooney in the same movie? Plus Philip Seymour Hoffman, Paul Giamatti, Marissa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood? This movie literally appeals to almost every age demographic above 15. This political drama seems fairly interesting and talent-filled so hopefully it will pull through. Unless the trailer is deceptive, it seems that Ryan Gosling dabbles in some corrupt, dirty politics. His recent role in Blue Valentine and other roles in upcoming films have taken him far away from the romance genre and proven that he can be a serious actor. Hopefully this film will be just another step up his ladder of success.
Surprisingly, though he is the main politician, this movie doesn't seem to center around George Clooney. That might be a nice break from the last few films he's been in like The American and Up in the Air. And I guess directing the film and co-starring in it is enough for even Clooney. Philip Seymour Hoffman is barely in the trailer, but hopefully he'll play a pretty big part in the film. Ever the crook, Giamatti seems to be in his element with his deceptive character. It's set to come out Oct. 7. Will you go see it?
