'Beetlejuice' reboot in the works

David Katzenberg and screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith have signed to Warner Bros. and are planning a Beetlejuice reboot for their first film. The original came out in 1988, was directed by Tim Burton and starred Michael Keaton in the title role.

It was my first introduction to the quirky world of Mr. Burton, and I personally think it's a crime to reboot it. It's only been nine years! What is wrong with filmmakers? Why can't anyone come up with an original idea? This all makes me a little sick. What do you guys think?
