Man Size

Does anyone else have a 'go-to' outfit that they can always rely one when they don't know what else to wear? Mine is definitely the mighty, marvelous phoenix sweater, Cheap Mondays and purple Docs. Exams are starting to hit me like a ton of bricks (what, tommorrow?) so its a good thing I can look half decent when I leave my room for meals and trips to Tim Hortons.

King of the World

On Saturday night, a bunch of friends ended up going out for bro-tastic DJ Goldrangzzz 19th birthday. We had a pretty great time, even though he couldn't really walk by the end of the night. Perhaps I should've been embarrassed for wearing this outfit that looks so much like a nightgown, but I didn't care at the time and still don't really. Comfort is my game. Anyhow, yesterday it was like spring and today its actually snowing. Talk about schizophrenic/bipolar/some other unfortunate mental health issue weather! I just have to look up at my billboard and smile when I see this fortune cookie anecdote.

Got my leather boots on.

I said it before, I'll say it again. PJ Harvey is THE woman. Her music is beautiful, visceral and makes me want to collapse into a puddle of sublime joy.

Stuck on Repeat

So today is the last day of classes before the exam period and I should be ecstatic. But its raining dreadfully and I have a bloody take-home exam due this Monday. That said, I'll be spending my day in the library attempting to be studious. Jeez, what a buzzkill. I'd rather just have a normally scheduled exam. It's a good thing tie-dye exists to brighten up the gloom.

P.S. These tights are getting haggard.

Needle

Finally, some nice weather rears its lovely head in my direction once again. I've been planning to debut the acid-wash shorts paired with 'harlot tights' for a long time now. It's a bit of a shock that I'll be moving home in two weeks and working full-time for four months. I'd never be able to wear harlot tights to work. I honestly do not want to leave this place of mayhem and academia.

Why don't we do it in the road?

I think my academic work is starting to make me go brain dead. How ironic. Don't get me wrong, I love school but I cannot seem to function properly when so much work is hanging over my head. Oh, and I really need to do laundry because I ran out of socks.

Looking forward to going absolutely batshit crazy this weekend, watching Freaks and Geeks and listening to the White Album.
