There's nothing quite like the opening weekend of a
Harry Potter movie.Thousands of teens and slightly embarrassed adults line up hours before a midnight showing dressed as witches and wizards and brimming with excitement. This year on July 14, I will be one of those standing in line nervously anticipating what will be the end of a major part of my childhood. And from the looks of these opening weekend domestic box office numbers, my childhood has helped to contribute a lot to Warner Bros. over the last 10 years. Here are the box office reports (in order of highest grossing to lowest) for the last seven
Potter films. What's surprising to me is the number two on this list. I would think that all of the oldest films would have brought in the most money because of the increase in ticket costs. What do you guys think?
